Bon Momo Community

The Momo people of Cameroon are an ethnic group primarily found in the Momo Division of the Northwest Region of Cameroon. They belong to the larger Tikar ethnic group and speak various dialects of Ngemba and Moghamo languages, which are part of the Bantoid language family.

During CAMFEST 2025, the Bon Momo group will showcase their vibrant cultural performances, including the famous "drumming" dance and traditional dishes like "beans" and "Turning coco." Join us to experience the beauty of Bon Momo culture and learn more about their history and traditions.
